Using the Maps on Border Walking

The maps provided on this website are designed to help you plan your walks but please, please do not use these maps for navigation.

Why?  No, its not because of any license agreement or becuase we make money from you buying maps (which we don't).  It is for your safety!  Maps printed out on a bit of paper will disintegrate at the first sign of rain.  Imagine how stupid you would look out on the top of Lee Pen with nothing but a soggy, inky mess to get you home!
